Alec Baldwin ‘alarmed’ at repeat visits from alleged stalker: Cop

Hot-tempered "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin told cops he was spooked out by the endless campaign of unwanted visits and messages by the French-Canadian actress on trial for stalking him, according to testimony Thursday.

Baldwin told cops he had "been alarmed since she's been showing up at functions unannounced and he was in fear for his safety," Det. Francis Brennan, a 27-year veteran, said at a pre-trial hearing in Genevieve Sabourin's stalking and harassment case in Manhattan Criminal Court.

The 55-year-old actor, known for his heated run-ins with photographers and Twitter rampages, denied having a fling with Sabourin, admitting only that "their relationship was entirely a professional relationship," Brennan said.

"He told me they had gone out to dinner twice," he added.

The A-lister told the cops the obsessive contact was one-way and non-stop.

"He said he received hundreds of text messages on his phone and he was receiving emails from her basically telling him to leave his wife and to live with her," Brennan said. "He got rid of his phone — the phone she kept calling."

But the 40-year-old bit actress — who wore a form-fitting purple dress to court Thursday -- says she and Baldwin were lovers and that she was simply seeking closure.

Now she'll face Baldwin and his yoga instructor wife Hilaria Baldwin, who recently gave birth to their baby girl. They are expected to testify next week and the trial may open Thursday afternoon.

"I'm going to see Hilaria Baldwin come and tell the people why she called 911 on a person she never met, never spoke (to). She called 911 on me and destroyed my entire life so it will be interesting to know the truth -- I'm looking forward to that," the blond chatterbox defendant said Wednesday, after declaring that a stressful day in court had been "the worst day of my life!"

She had been repeatedly scolded for interrupting Judge Robert Mandelbaum, who threatened to jack up her bail and throw her in jail. She was also given a strict warning to stop disobeying court staff.

Sabourin was first busted on April 8, 2012 after sending repeated e-mails to Baldwin, including one that said she would launch a "massive destructive war" and one professing her desire to marry Baldwin.

She allegedly followed him to a movie premiere at Lincoln Center and was in the driveway of his East Hampton home just days prior. She was later re-arrested for violating a restraining order by tweeting at Hilaria Baldwin. None of the contact was wanted, according to prosecutors.

At the pre-trial hearing Wednesday afternoon, an officer who arrested her outside Baldwin's E. 10th St. pad "emotionally unstable" and "desperate" when she was arrested in front of Baldwin's tony E. 10th St. pad.

"She's not a psychologist!" Sabourin blurted out.

She has repeatedly turned down a jail-free plea deal that would have required her to stay 10 blocks away from the couple's homes and work places.

She faces up to 90 days in jail if convicted.
