Anne Hathaway is ‘not pregnant,’ says rep

Anne Hathaway is not pregnant.

Despite reports that the Academy Award-winning actress is expecting her first child with husband Adam Shulman, her rep confirms to The News, 'She is not pregnant.'

Rumors first began when Hathaway's brother Tom reportedly stated his sister was expecting while performing at a comedy club in Brooklyn, N.Y. last week, according to Star magazine (via the Irish Independent).

"Tom opened his act by talking about Anne's personal life," an attendee said.

"He said, 'My sister got married last year and now she is about to be a new mom!'" the source added. "I don't think he realized what he had done."

Hathaway, 30, married Shulman in September 2012 in Big Sur on the coast of California, People reported at the time.

Their matrimony took place over a weekend, which kicked off with a rehearsal dinner at the Ventana Inn and Spa and led into the ceremony the next day at a private estate. The wedding was attended by more than 150 guests, who watched Hathaway exchange vows with her love of four years in a Valentino custom gown.

"I am very much in love with him, (only) Adam totally ruined my plan," she joked in a previous interview. "I was really actually looking forward to a little alone time and then I fell in love like a fool!"

While the actress' "alone time" was cut short by Shulman, the couple will continue enjoying one-on-one time as news of their family expanding by one is not true.
