Eccentric pop star Lady Gaga will perform in outer space as part of a 2015 music festival.
Lady Gaga's next act will be out of this world.
The "Applause" singer is heading into outer space as part of a Zero G Colony music festival in New Mexico, Us Weekly reports.

The 27-year-old star will board a Virgin Galactic ship to sing just one song, entourage in tow.
The mysterious festival will take place over three days at New Mexico's Spaceport America. Gaga's performance is planned for the third day of the concert series at dawn.

But the eccentric diva has to do more than just buckle up. "She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," a source said, adding "Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!"
The event will mark the first time that a pop artist has performed in space. The source promises the gossip magazine that the show will be "like nothing the world has seen before."

Gaga isn't the only pop star with plans to explore the final frontier. Justin Bieber, Katy Perry and Lance Bass have all signed up to take a ride on the Virgin Galactic ship when it launches.
