EXCLUSIVE: JWoww rips Christie on gay marriage stance

The ongoing battle between New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and former “Jersey Shore” cast member Jenni “JWoww” Farley is getting worse.

In an exclusive interview with Confidenti@l, JWoww, 27, went on a vitriolic rant about Christie, targeting his views on gay marriage.

“I’m going to come after you,” said Farley, who’s promoting the third season of “Snooki & JWoww,” her “Jersey Shore” spinoff with BFF Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

“If you have a problem with two people being in love, and you’re against gay marriage, I have a problem with you,” said Farley. “What happens between two human beings has nothing to do with Chris Christie and does not affect Chris Christie. What does affect me is when my best friend can’t get married in New Jersey, and my best friend’s mother, who is a lesbian, can’t get married.”

Farley went so far as to say she forgives Christie for his past antics against the MTV stars, including his rejection of $420,000 in tax credits for “Jersey Shore.” In September 2011, Christie said the show “does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens.”

“The problems that he had with me, Nicole, Vinny [Guadagnino], Pauly [Delvecchio], I’ve put that aside,” said Farley. “He’s a politician, he’s able to grant these wishes for people in love. Your personal opinion should have no effect on other people’s love lives, especially if you’re in a position of power.”

Referring to Christie’s 2012 veto of a bill to allow same-sex unions, Farley continued, “It agitates me that the law got passed and he’s doing whatever it takes to not get it passed in New Jersey.”

Even though she’s only been a taxpaying New Jersey resident for two years — Farley lived in New York state her whole life until moving in with fiancé Roger Mathews recently — she and her husband-to-be just bought their first home together on the Shore.

“I hope at the end of the day,” said Farley, that Christie “sets his personal opinions aside. There’s nothing about [gay people] that makes his day bad, makes his day different. They don’t affect him living his daily life.”

NO CHAPERONE ON THIS CRUZ

Penelope Cruz’s husband, Javier Bardem, does not supervise her sex scenes, her “The Counselor” co-star Michael Fassbender tells Confidenti@l. After joking that Bardem was on set for a sex scene Fassbender had with the actress, he tells us people didn’t realize he was joking. “He wasn’t really there. That was a joke, dude,” he assured us at a Cinema Society and Emporio Armani screening of the movie at the Crosby Street Hotel.

REDOING SURGERY

Bite your tongue, Michael Douglas. The actor, 69, who claimed to have throat cancer last spring, has now confessed that he in fact had tongue cancer. He said he lied because surgery for the latter can be disfiguring and he was promoting “Wall Street 2” at the time.

During an interview with Samuel L. Jackson on a Male Cancer Awareness Week special edition of UK TV’s “This Morning,” Douglas says surgeons warned him, “If we do have to have surgery it’s not going to be pretty.”

His handsome mug now appears to be in the clear, but maybe all the talk is an attempt to take attention away from his separation from wife Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was recently spotted still wearing her wedding ring. It has been reported that Douglas’ confession that his throat cancer came from performing oral sex is what led to the couple’s split. Douglas and Zeta-Jones reportedly will reunite for Thanksgiving in New York with their two children.

ENJOYING COMIC RELIEF

Call her Dawson Geek. Rosario Dawson told Confidenti@l she was bummed she’d be on a flight to L.A. Thursday, just when Comic Con got underway at the Javits Center.

“I’m about to pick up the ‘Saga’ series. I’m a little behind on my reading,” admits Dawson, who was with mom Isabel Celeste at the Men's Health magazine's 25th anniversary party. She blamed another nerdy habit for her comic-book backlog. “I’ve been playing a lot of video games lately. I just discovered ‘Fallout.’ I know that’s terrible. Where have I been?”

A LITTLE BIT ‘LOST’

Robert Redford doesn’t Keep Up With the Kardashians. When Confidenti@l asked the Oscar winner what he made of Bruce and Kris Jenner’s split at the after-party for his new flick, “All Is Lost,” he looked puzzled and asked, “Who? Who got separated?” But all was not lost at the Seiko-hosted event at Lincoln Ristorante when the film’s executive producer, Zachary Quinto, dropped in late after performing in “The Glass Menagerie” sans boyfriend Miles McMillan.

NO BROOM FOR QUITTERS ON ‘POTTER’

At the New York Film Festival tribute to Ralph Fiennes, the honoree said appearing in the “Harry Potter” saga was a British call to duty. “It was a law passed some years ago in the Commons and it was ratified by the House of Lords, so we all had to sign up,” he joked about playing evil Lord Voldemort. Fiennes struggled to name his favorite role to date, but gave it a shot, listing “Sunshine,” “Constant Gardener,” “Spider” and "English Patient.”

GOING NORTH & WEST

Kimye and daughter North celebrated daddy’s bizarre eight-minute rant on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” with a family dinner at Hakkasan in L.A. During the interview, Kanye West said he thinks “of the best s—” while seated on the toilet. West, who’d been Twitter-feuding with Kimmel, officially put his tantrum to rest on the show. Hopefully Kim Kardashian’s Hermès diaper bag is big enough for Huggies for both of her babies.

TIMES SQUARE SIR-PRIZE

Times Square got busier than usual Thursday afternoon when Paul McCartney performed a 15-minute set from his latest album, “New.” A crowd, alerted by Twitter, watched Sir Paul sing from a tractor-trailer parked at 46th St. and Broadway. In a scene reminiscent of the famed Beatles rooftop concert in the movie “Let It Be,” nearby construction workers and even a passing tour bus joined the pedestrian onlookers and iPhone photo-snappers. “Let’s do this the same time tomorrow,” said McCartney. “Just kidding!”

PERRY KEEPS THE FAITH

Oh, Lord — it’s Mary and Perry. Katy Perry paired a flowery Madonna-theme shirt with a leather miniskirt and knee-high socks for a taping of “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon” at Rockefeller Center.

CHARLIZE STICKS HER NECK OUT

Charlize Theron makes neck surgery look easy. The 38-year-old actress recently underwent a small procedure on the front of her neck in order to correct an old vertebrae injury, but that didn’t stop her from taking handsome son Jackson to one of his favorite spots on Wednesday — the Fit for Kids gym in West Hollywood. Theron’s small bandage was barely visible, thanks to her carefully placed scarf.

EXPENSIVE SHOTS

Mick Rock, shutterbug to rock ’n’ roll legends like David Bowie and the Sex Pistols, dressed to impress at the Lunchbox Fund’s fall fete at Buddakan. The generous Brit donated a prized cover shot from Lou Reed’s “Transformer,” album, which went under the hammer and raised $3,000. “I could get more for it,” he told us at the party. “Like $4,000 or $5,000, but whatever. It’s all for the kids.” Also partying were Maggie Gyllenhaal, Liv Tyler, Mario Batali, club owner David Rabin and Scott Lipps. The night raised $300,000.

LIVELY ‘DEAD’ BASH

It’ll be a dead man’s party Friday when “The Walking Dead” fans fete 10 years of the comic book franchise in one of New York Comic Con’s most-anticipated parties. Creator Robert Kirkman and celebs Seth Green, Alison Haislip and Carrie Keagan are expect to attend a Hyundai-sponsored Pillar 37 gallery bash celebrating the comic series. The concept has spawned a TV show, an action figure collection and millions of nightmares. The party will follow a documentary that chronicles “Dead’s” history.
