During a reality show in Chile, Argentine singer Pablito Ruiz assured his housemates that singer Luis Miguel is bisexual. Ruiz, who rose to fame after alleging he had kissed Ricky Martin as a teenager, said one of his friends had been contacted and introduced to the Mexican superstar.

The reality show, titled “Trepadores” ("Social Climbers"), is a type of “Big Brother” series in which several famous personalities from around the world live under one roof with constant video monitoring. During a segment titled “Round of Confessions,” in which all the housemates converse minutes before heading to bed, Pablito spoke first about his kiss with Ricky Martin and later about Luis Miguel.

“One of my friends, who is so cute, was taken to Luis Miguel’s yacht to be introduced to him… yes Luis Miguel is bi,” Pablito told some of his female housemates.

The Mexican superstar has often been considered a womanizer throughout his lengthy career and this is the first time the star’s sexuality has been publicly discussed. Luis Miguel's most famous romantic relationship was with Mexican actress Aracely Arambula, with whom he has two sons.
