Zac Efron took a moment to thank his fans for their "support" on Friday.
The "New Year's Eve" actor posted a photo of himself happily posing on a mountain overlooking the famous Machu Picchu ruins in Peru. The photo caption simply referenced "these past few weeks" as a reason for his gratitude, without mentioning the reason.

"Hey guys! Just returned from an incredible trip to Peru with my dad and wanted to thank you all for your support these past few weeks," he wrote. "Means the world to me. Love you guys!"

Recent reports revealed that Efron, 25, spent time in rehab twice earlier this year for an alleged cocaine addiction.
The actor reportedly sought help for his drug abuse first in March and then again in April after the issue spiraled out of control while he filmed the Seth Rogen movie, "Neighbors," according to TMZ.

"It was common knowledge he was struggling with cocaine," a source told the gossip site.
At the Toronto Film Festival, a source told People magazine that the "Parkland" actor is "doing great."

"He's taking care of himself and it shows," the insider said.
