Williams III and W.H. Blackman, co-authors of the Batwoman comic book, announcedthey are leaving after citing interference from the DC Comics editorial board. </div><div><br></div><div>They cited a variety of creative reasons.</div><div><br></div><div>"Unfortunately, in recent months, DC has asked us to alter or completely discard many long-standing storylines in ways that we feel compromise the character and the series," wrote Williams.</div><div><br></div><div>But he especially pointed out, "most crushingly, [we were] prohibited from ever showing Kate and Maggie actually getting married."</div><div><br></div><div>Batwoman, a.k.a.
