Joe Jonas says he and a few others have dumped Taylor Swift

Singers Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas dated in 2008, Jonas went on to be the reported inspiration of several of her heartfelt hit songs.

Joe Jonas admitted he was one of many to give Taylor Swift lyrical inspiration.

Heartbreak has been the recipe for success for the 24-year-old singer, who has dated and broken up with some of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors, turning their split stories into number one hit songs.

Swift's ex-beau told Joan Rivers on a recent episode of E!'s "Fashion Police" that he was the one to end his union with Swift back in 2008.

"I think it's me and a few others, but yeah," he said responding to Rivers asking if he was the one to dump the blond beauty.

Rivers continued to press him saying, "You did it over the phone, and you got three songs written about you."

"We still haven't seen the royalty check. It's weird," older brother Kevin Jonas said chiming in.

Rumors swirled at the time of their break up that Jonas left Swift for his "Lovebug" video co-star Camilla Belle.

Jonas, 24, is currently dating Blanda Eggenschwiler with whom he has a supposed sex tape with.

"Apparently, I made a sex tape, but I'm still waiting to see it," he said laughing
