Kristin Cavallari forced to post bail for driving license infraction

kristin Cavallari was slapped with a $120 citation after being pulled over in Illinois.




Former MTV reality star Kristin Cavallari got more than she bargained for racing through Chicago on Friday.


The 26-year-old designer was pulled over by police on suspicion of speeding. According to TMZ, the Evanston Police Department then cited the actress for living in the state and driving without a valid Illinois license.

Police escorted Cavallari to the police station in her own car and was forced to pay $120 for a citation. She was subsequently released.


Cavallari, who splits her time between Los Angeles and Chicago thanks to her marriage with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, tweeted about the incident later.

"Who knew having a California driver's license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?!!," she wrote. "What a morning."


Cutler and Cavallari married in June. Their son, Camden Jack, was born in August 2012.
