"The Voice" original recipe is back! Cee Lo Green and Christina Aguilera returned for the fifth season premiere of the Emmy winner for Best Reality Competition Series. The coaches must have been excited to be reunited, because the premiere saw the fastest four-chair turn in the relatively short history of the show.

Matthew Schuler had barely begun his take on Young the Giant's "Cough Syrup" when the floor in front of him lit up as all four judges turned their chairs simultaneously. When he was done, they were so excited that he got a high-five from Blake Shelton and a hug from Aguilera before any comments had been given. Meanwhile, Adam Levine was up on his chair -- at one time joined by Aguilera -- giving a standing ovation.

Esther Gim of Buddy TV loved the audition, though she admitted the vocal wasn't perfect. She got a kick out of watching the coaches battle. "All the coaches pitch hard, like Blake saying Matthew can make him lucky with his wife if he joins his team," she wrote. "And he joins Team Christina! Wow, she wins the first four-chair battle of the season, and she even says she didn't think she'd get him.”

Over at E! Online, Leanne Aguilera called Christina landing him for Team Xtina the "biggest win of the premiere.” Season 5 is definitely off to a strong start. "The Voice" is still looking to land a bona fide recording star. Could Matthew Schuler make it happen?

The blind auditions continue on "The Voice," Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
