Emily Blunt debuts baby bump on set of ‘Into the Woods’

Emily Blunt’s unborn child made its Hollywood debut as the first-time mother-to-be was spotted on the set of her upcoming film “Into the Woods” with a baby bump, reports Us Weekly.

A rep for the “Five-Year Engagement” actress confirmed with Us on Sept. 11 that she was expecting her first baby with husband John Krasinski.

While Blunt was adorned in a burgundy dress with a dark blue apron, her growing belly can still be seen on the set.

“They both want kids, it’s one of the reasons they got a bigger place, in a neighborhood that you can raise a family,” a source previously told the magazine. “They both couldn’t be more excited.”

Although Blunt’s character, The Baker’s Wife, in the film adaptation of Stephen Sondheim’s Broadway musical is unable to have children, it is certainly not the case in her real life.

The 30-year-old actress will give birth to her first child in a few months with Krasinski, who she married in 2010.

Krasinski, formerly of “The Office,” told the “Today” show he’s already gotten a preview of what fatherhood may be like from working with Matt Damon on “Promised Land” and seeing first-hand interaction between dad and child.

“We actually wrote with children climbing all over him, and he was doing bath time and dinner and everything,” he recalled of his time working on the film with Damon, “and we still got it done.”

As Blunt and Krasinski head for parenthood their solid relationship with one another could prove to be a huge benefit as they expand their family.

“John and I can talk about everything,” she told the Los Angeles Times in April 2012. “It’s nice, because we have a very deep understanding of what the other person does.”
