"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" has found the voice of its Cheshire Cat in the multitalented Keith David, according to TVLine.

David will lend his dulcet tones to the iconic "Alice in Wonderland" character for ABC's "Once Upon a Time" spinoff beginning with the series premiere. He'll join John Lithgow who is voicing the White Rabbit, and The Who’s Roger Daltrey as the hookah-smoking Caterpillar. It's a busy season for David, who will also appear on Fox's military comedy "Enlisted" as Command Sergeant Major Donald Cody, who is in charge of Fort McGee where Geoff Stults, Chris Lowell and Parker Young's characters are stationed.

A two-time Emmy winner, David is a veteran of screen and voiceover work, recently having narrated "The Bible" and the "Pillows and Blankets" episode of "Community," as well as voicing the character of Spawn in the '90s series of the same name. His recent big screen work includes "Cloud Atlas," "Death at a Funeral" and "Coraline" (where he fittingly voiced The Cat).

"Once Upon a Time in Wonderland" premieres Thursday, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
