"Scandal" star Kerry Washington reportedly is expecting her first child with NFL player Nnamdi Asomugha, her husband of four months.
Us Weekly on Wednesday reported that Washington, 36, is approximately four months pregnant. This will be her first child. She and San Francisco 49ers cornerback Asomugha, 32, married without fanfare June 24 in Hailey, Idaho, a ski-resort area where celebrities including Demi Moore and Adam West have homes.
Asomugha and Washington, whose films include "Django Unchained," have dated since the summer of 2012, according to reports.
This is Washington's first marriage. In March 2007 she broke up with her fiancé, actor David Moscow, who played Tom Hanks' character as in a child in the 1988 movie hit "Big."
In August, Washington was named People's best-dressed woman of 2013, with the magazine praising her "impeccable style." Washington also appears on this year's Vanity Fair list, which is unranked.
