The final season of 'Mad Men' was filming in Terminal 4 of LAX when the shooting on November 1 happened in an adjacent terminal.

On Friday, the cast and crew of "Mad Men" began rolling cameras for their final season, only to have production halted by the terrifying shooting at LAX.

The AMC series was apparently working in Terminal 4 when gunman Paul Anthony Ciancia opened fire.

Crewmember Dustin Woods documented the chaos on his Twitter account, in posts that have since been deleted, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"We are filming at LAX," Woods, a grip for the show, wrote. "Terminal 4. Forced back inside for safety."

It was unclear if any of AMC's regular cast members were caught up in the frightening situation. But if they were, they weren't the only stars stuck at LAX during the incident.

James Franco, singer Joe Jonas, and "How I Met Your Mother" co-creator Craig Thomas were among the many passengers whose travels were thrown off by the shooting.
