Keith Urban admits to sexting with wife Nicole Kidman

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman know how to keep their marriage hot while their careers keep them apart.

The "American Idol" judge opened up on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which airs Monday, about sexting with his wife once a year, reports Us Weekly.

"We never text. We never email. Phone calls only, which I really love that," he initially told the daytime talk show host. "Maybe one text. Maybe one cool, kinda, one of those kinds of texts a year."

When DeGeneres asked him to explain what he meant, the 46-year-old country crooner admitted, "Nice sex texting."

While it may have been more detailed information than the funny lady bargained for Urban and Kidman's yearly intimate exchange via text seems to be working as they've been married since June 2006.

Their sexy correspondence keeps things exciting for the couple, who spend a lot of time separately.

"I always structure my tour so I'm never gone for a week at a time," he explained. "And that works out good until 'Idol' comes along and fills in those days in between. And that is doable until then a film comes along that shoots in London. So we just make it work."

Whatever it is that they write to each other is kept private, thankfully, but it's not difficult to see that the duo, who have two daughters - - Sunday Rose, 5, and Faith Margaret, 2 - - are happy together.
