Photographer Anthony Nunez, 42, and his family enjoyed a meal and a meet-and-greet with celebrity chef Guy Fieri at the culinary star’s Times Square restaurant Saturday after winning a Daily News contest.
“He treated us great,” said the lucky subscriber from Ridgewood, Queens.
Fieri greeted the family at his restaurant, Guy’s American Kitchen & Bar, and quickly whisked Nunez’s 5-year-old son Kevin Guevara and 11-year-old nephew Matthew Nunez to the kitchen for sundaes.
“When you’re a little kid, you come to a place like this and you think anything is possible,” said Fieri. “The kids will never forget this. It’s that ‘Willy Wonka’ thing.”
Upstairs, Kevin’s dad dined with his parents and two sisters, Joanny Nunez, 39, and Fatima Nunez, 36, of the upper East Side.
“It feels great to win something,” he said. “The Daily News is the No. 1 newspaper in town."
