Tom Welling, the actor who played the Man of Steel on the CW show 'Smallville,' and Jamie White Welling, his wife of 10 years, are heading for a divorce, TMZ reports.

The actor's wife filed divorce documents on Wednesdays, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the cause for the dissolution of the marriage.
She is also asking for spousal support, according to the gossip site. The two separated in December last year.
