It takes time, patience, and a whole team of make-up professionals, as Klum revealed on her Instagram feed.

The 40-year-old "Project Runway" host, famous for her elaborate Halloween costumes, showed five different makeup artists working on her look.
"Thanks to Andy Clement and #creativeCharacterEngineering for my amazing prosthetics," Klum tweeted, referring to the vinyl pieces created for her metamorphosis.

Klum tucked her long blond hair into a bald cap before two of the artists applied a mask of wrinkles to her face and neck. The professionals also airbrushed veins onto her arms and legs.
"Ok guys…I am going into the future," Klum explained about her costume. The model threw her 14th annual Halloween soiree in New York City on Thursday. In a later photo she posted, she poses with boyfriend Martin Kirsten in full geriatric regalia.

In past years, Klum has dressed as Cleopatra, an alien robot, and a Hindu goddess.
