Actor Owen Wilson, pictured in at 'The Internship' premiere in May, is developing a drama series with Starz.

Film star Owen Wilson is branching into porn - so to speak.

The “Wedding Crashers” actor is teaming with “Law & Order” writer/producer Rene Balcer to develop a period drama called “WonderWorld” for Starz.

The series is “set in Ronald Reagan’s America and inspired by one of the biggest undercover operations in FBI history. WonderWorld follows two straight-arrow FBI agents as they infiltrate the violent Mob-controlled porn industry of the 1980s, with dire consequences for themselves and their families,” according to the show’s logline.

Balcher will serve as showrunner if the series is picked up, according to Deadline.com.

Wilson has a busy slate in the meantime, having just started filming “The Coup,” with Pierce Brosnan, in Hong Kong.
