Freida Pinto pole dances, makes out with Bruno Mars

It's Freida Pinto like you've never seen her before.

The 28-year-old "Slumdog Millionaire" star, who pulled heartstrings playing an innocent girl in love, appears as a hardcore stripper in the Bruno Mars music video for "Gorilla."

Hated by her cohorts, Pinto plays the new girl in town who is sleeping with the strip club's band leader, Mars, 28. Her seductive and steamy moves include sliding down a stripper pole, dropping into a split, and dancing around on the floor showered in money.

But the other strippers don't intend to let Pinto get all their dough, so they plan to expose her love affair to the club's emcee played by actor Luis Guzman.

Matching the song's intensely raunchy lyrics, Pinto and Mars can be seen making out in a car with full on animalistic desire for one another.

She even sets his guitar on fire at one point, which causes the sprinkler system to go off in the club.

Pinto's performance most certainly gives Rihanna's recent stripper-esque music video, "Pour it Up," a run for its money. And Miley Cyrus ain't got nothing on the Mumbai, India, native, who didn't even have to get stark naked in order to urge folks to press replay.

While she may be playing the role of a sexually charged stripper in Mars' latest video, Pinto stands for much more in her real life.

The Indian actress advanced the message of how important it is for millions of girls who are not in school today to get an education, during the International Day of the Girl Child on Oct. 11.

As a proudly educated woman herself, Pinto said at an event sponsored by the U.N. children's fund: "I feel every girl in the world, in respect of where she comes from, what her social status is, needs to be given the same."
