Actor Jamie Dornan is apparently vying for the lead role in 'Fifty Shades of Grey.'

Is Jamie Dornan about to replace Charlie Hunnam in the "Fifty Shades of Grey" film?

A source for E! News reports that the hunky Irish actor is leading the group of contenders to fill Hunnam's shoes after the "Sons of Anarchy" dropped out of production last week.

"He had a really good read today," the insider told E! News. The studio mentioned that the studio was more focused on getting the part filled than on the potential chemistry with Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele in the flick.

Other names that have been swirling around the part include Matt Bomer, Luke Bracey, and even James Franco.
