Jon Cryer’s ex-wife is asking for a ten-fold increase in her $8,000-a-month child support payments because their teen son’s posh private school makes her look like a pauper.
Sarah Trigger wants a judge to bump her to $88,000 a month saying it's only fair after Cryer, the star of TV’s “Two and a Half Men,” agreed to give her 50 percent custody in June, her lawyer told the Daily News.
Before that, Trigger only had 4 percent custody, he said.
The now unemployed British actress claims Cryer makes a mind-blowing $2 million a month.

“It’s not that she wants this for herself. The child is 13 years old right now, and you have one parent earning an extraordinary income and the other parent with a normal income, and at that age, children are able to recognize who’s able to provide what,” Trigger’s lawyer Keith Simpson told the Daily News Friday.
“The reality is that when the child is with his father, he’s able to compete on a level playing field with his peers, and when he’s with his mother, he’s not,” Simpson said.
The teen goes to the prestigious Buckley School in Sherman Oaks along with the silver spoon-sucking scions of Hollywood’s wealthiest families.
In her new court filing first reported by TMZ.com, Trigger says Buckley students go on “exotic vacations in the summer and winter (to destinations) like Europe and Thailand.”

She said they have over-the-top birthday parties at expensive places like Sky High Sports and “invite the whole class.”
Their Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs are lavish affairs with custom invitations and “huge private receptions.”
“The child needs to be able to compete with his peers 100 percent of the time, and that means mom being able to afford to buy the things his peers receive,” Simpson said, “I don’t think it’s really healthy for there to be such a disparity. This is really about the child’s best interest.”
Cryer, 48, and Trigger were married from 1999 until 2004.

The TV star is now hitched to entertainment reporter Lisa Joyner, and the couple has an adopted daughter.
In July, former “Two and a Half Men” co-star Charlie Sheen invoked Cryer’s $8,000 a month deal with Trigger when he asked a judge to slash his megabucks monthly child support payments to his ex-wife Brooke Mueller.
Trigger's new petition has a court date early next year.
Simpson said it was possible the sides would conduct private settlement discussions in the meantime.
